STEAM Explorer – November 2026

One afternoon a week at the Lab for kids ages 10 to 14: each session focuses on a different technology, which they learn by putting it into practice right away.

✨ How do you learn about technology? By using it while explaining it.
In July, at the Junior Summer Camp, we spent four afternoons trying out a different technology each day, always getting hands-on with the equipment. STEAM Explorer brings the same approach to the Lab every week.

🎤 How “
” Works Each session focuses on a specific technology from the Lab or a specific aspect of one of them: 3D printing, laser cutting, robotics, electronics, or artificial intelligence. A step is explained, and participants try it out right away on the Lab’s actual machines, with the Asperastra team by their side. These aren’t lectures: what you learn is put into practice during the same session. The group is small, with a maximum of ten students.

STEAM Explorer is an ongoing monthly subscription, not a fixed-term plan. Those who sign up in November are guaranteed a spot in the following months as well, for as long as the family decides to continue: spots become available only when someone chooses not to renew.

👥 Who is “
” for? – Boys and girls ages 10 to 14 who are curious to understand how things work
– Anyone who wants to try out different technologies before choosing the one they like best
– Anyone who learns better by doing than by listening
– Parents looking for a hands-on activity for their children, something different from a traditional class

🧠 What will the students do?
– They’ll learn about a different technology at each session, or a specific aspect of one of them
– They’ll use the Lab’s equipment: 3D printers, laser cutters, electronic boards, and artificial intelligence tools
– They’ll immediately put what they learn into practice, with the team by their side
– They’ll discover which technology they’re most passionate about

🎟️ Registration and Fee
Registration is available exclusively through Eventbrite. The November fee is €60 per person—a discounted rate for the kickoff event and the three sessions that month—and is paid directly on Eventbrite. If you prefer to pay by bank transfer, please email us at mail@asperastra.org before registering. Starting in December, STEAM Explorer will be a monthly subscription for €80.

Asperastra Members
Members receive a special code via newsletter that waives the ticket fee on Eventbrite: there is no charge online, but the activity itself is not free. You pay 60 credits, which are deducted directly at the Lab.

To enroll a minor, we require the information of a parent or guardian and that of the child, which we process as described in our privacy policy.
